Cancellation, Returns & Refund Policy

This policy applies to purchases made from DJBox.ie (Faize Sound and Lighting Ltd.) and is designed in accordance with Irish and EU consumer law. Your statutory rights are not affected.


1. Your Right to Cancel (Online Purchases)

If you purchase goods online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

Goods must be received back at DJBox offices 14 days from the date they are delivered to you.

To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing (email is sufficient shop@djbox.ie).


2. Cancellation Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible via email to shop @djbox.ie -social media or other messages cannot be accepted as notice of cancellation. Please include your order number in your email.

  • Where a shipping label has not been generated, a full refund will be issued.

  • Where a shipping label has already been generated and paid for, we reserve the right to deduct the shipping cost from your refund, as this is a direct cost already incurred.


3. Orders Already Dispatched

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

However, you may still exercise your right to withdraw under EU distance selling regulations. In this case, the order must be returned in accordance with the Returns section below.


4. Returns (Online Purchases)

We want you to feel confident when shopping with DJBox.ie.

We will accept returns of online orders within the 14-day withdrawal period provided that:

  • Items are unused, in original condition, and suitable for resale

  • All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and contents are included

  • Packaging is not damaged, marked, or altered (including labels, stickers, or seals)

  • Items show no signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect them

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.


5. Return Process

To return an item:

  1. Contact us to request a Returns Authorisation (RMA) number

  2. Include your Name, Address, Order Number, and RMA number

  3. Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the parcel

Customers are responsible for ensuring items are securely packaged. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.


6. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is faulty or incorrect

  • Original delivery charges will be refunded in line with EU law (standard delivery only)

  • We do not reimburse return carriage costs unless required by law


7. Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 28 days of receiving returned goods (or proof of return).

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method

During busy periods, processing may take longer; however, we aim to complete refunds promptly.


8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described:

  • You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund

  • We will cover any applicable delivery or return costs

Please contact us as soon as possible with details (and photos where possible).


9. Software & Digital Products

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure software compatibility before purchase

  • We do not accept returns of software or related products due to compatibility issues

  • Software that has been opened, registered, activated, or used cannot be returned unless faulty


10. Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be returned unless faulty:

  • Opened or used items not in resale condition

  • Hygiene-sensitive products (where seals are broken)

  • Software or digital products as outlined above

  • Custom-built or special-order items


11. In-Store Purchases

For purchases made in-store:

  • We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind

  • All sales are final unless the item is faulty

Warranty rights are fully supported in accordance with Irish consumer law. Your statutory rights are not affected.


12. Gear Exchange Equipment

Items sold under the Gear Exchange program:

  • Are sold as seen / as is

  • Do not carry a warranty

  • Are not owned by DJBox.ie

DJBox.ie accepts no liability for faults or defects arising after purchase.


13. WEEE & Recycling

Faize Sound and Lighting Ltd. complies with the European Union (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulations 2014.

We will take back WEEE on a like-for-like basis. Customers must not dispose of WEEE in general waste and should ensure proper recycling.

14. Important Information

  • Returns that do not meet this policy may be refused or placed “in dispute” until resolved

  • Unresolved returns may be returned to the customer at their cost or disposed of after 30 days

  • This policy does not affect your statutory rights under Irish law

Below are the terms and conditions which we, Faize Sound and Lighting Ltd. and DJbox.ie, do business for goods ordered through this website. They are intended to be fair to both you as the customer and layout our role as a supplier of DJ and electronic equipment. If you contract with us, as a consumer they do not affect your statutory rights. They are designed to set out clearly our responsibilities and your rights.

By choosing to purchase from us you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, as well as by our returns policy. We suggest you print and keep a copy of these terms for your reference. These are the sole terms and conditions upon which we agree to contract with you and no alteration of these terms and conditions shall be valid. 

A contract is formed between us when (and not before) we ship your order. Your order will not be accepted until we receive payment or in the case of cheques your funds has been cleared. Cheques, Bank Drafts and Postal orders should be made out to “Faize Sound and Lighting Ltd”. You must be over 18 to purchase from this site. All prices contained on DJbox.ie and offered by Faize Sound and Lighting Ltd. are subject to change at our discretion, and we reserve the right to reject/refuse any order on any issues related to pricing or price discrepency. 

Images, illustrations or any other information submitted or contained in this website, catalogues or other advertising matter shall not be deemed to form part of the contract but are for general information and guidance only.

All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT where applicable. The VAT amount will be stated on the checkout page, this stated amount is not added to the total, merely extracted for your reference to portray the taxes already included in the totals. All prices contained on DJbox.ie are subject to change and we reserve the right to reject/refuse an order on any issues related to pricing.

Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in any literature, website based information, quotation, price list, acceptance of offer, invoice or other document or information issued by us shall be subject to correction without any liability on our part. All prices represent an invitation to purchase and no contract is formed until we acceot your offer and ship your goods. We reserve the right to cancel orders placed that have incorrect pricing due to personal errors.

During our busy Christmas season once orders have been placed they cannot be amended, please check your order carefully before submitting your order for payment. Orders may be cancelled before they have been dispatched by phone only. Orders that have no delivery address supplied or no contact phone number for the couriers to contact, may not be dispatched - these orders will be held until we receive full delivery information including contact number, customers may cancel these orders and receive a full refund prior to their shipping if desired.

If you fail to take delivery of the ordered goods and they are returned to us, we will contact you upon their arrival via email. A refund of the cost of goods without shipping will be given or if the goods are still required, we will ask for an additional shipping fee to make a second delivery. It is the responsibility of the customer to be at the delivery address given for shipping as equipment cannot be left without signature and customers must be available on their chosen contact number to facilitate the courier to find the address if necessary. We require customers to be available to answer these calls or where voice mail is available to respond to the voice mail in a timely manner. In instances where couriers cannot make phone contact packages may not be delivered. Risk of damage to, or loss of, ordered goods shall pass to you at the time the goods leave our premises for delivery. Paypal orders will only be shipped to the address given on the checkout page. We will not ship to "work" or other addresses as per Paypal and Faize Sound and Lighting Ltd. terms and conditions.

All items displayed on our site are usually in stock ready for dispatch, however if any ordered goods are not readily available to us, we reserve the right to withdraw our acceptance of your order for such goods and will refund in full any payment you have made for them. For the avoidance of doubt other goods ordered by you will be dispatched in the normal way. In the unlikely case of this happening we undertake to notify you at the earliest opportunity.

We warrant that, upon receipt of goods, the ordered goods will correspond with the written description on this website, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship and will be of merchantable quality (as set out in Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1980). There may, however, be minor variations between the goods as shown or described on our website and those dispatched to you (but so that the goods dispatched will always be of a comparable or superior quality).

Where our sales agents suggest items that we may order in for you to help match your needs and these items are not available on our site, all quotations are valid for two weeks unless otherwise agreed in writing. Items will not be ordered in until full payment has been made and funds have been cleared.

Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, we shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law or under these terms and conditions, for any special, indirect or consequential damage.

Any communication between the buyer and our company (Faize Sound and Lighting Ltd. and/or DJBox.ie) should be by e-mail, where communication is made by phone all aspects of the conversation which you wish to be included in forming part of the conversation must be clarified by e-mail within one hour of the conversation. E-mails sent will be deemed as read, it is your responsibility to ensure that the email address supplied is accurate and capable of receiving our e-mails.

We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions at any time but, in respect of any ordered goods, the terms and conditions which apply shall be those which you accepted when you placed your order.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions of these terms and conditions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected thereby.

The contract formed by our acceptance of your order shall be governed by Irish laws and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.

Faize Sound and Lighting Ltd. is committed to meeting the requirements of the European Union (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulations 2014. These Regulations require producers of electrical and electronic equipment to finance the takeback of WEEE resulting from products that we place on the Irish market. This helps us to ensure that WEEE is reused or recycled safely. In line with that commitment Faize Sound and Lighting Ltd. will take back WEEE from you. Please contact us for details. 

You also have a role to play in ensuring that WEEE is reused and recycled safely. So, if you choose not to return WEEE to us then you should not dispose of it in your bin. The crossed out wheeled-bin symbol on the product reminds users not to dispose WEEE in the bin. You should ensure that the WEEE is collected separately and sent for proper treatment. WEEE contains hazardous substances and if not managed and treated safely it can cause pollution and damage human health.


Shipping policy

Our General Undertaking is to despatch all orders received through our website, within a 3 working-day period once the order has been processed and payment has been paid and cleared with us.  

Once an order has been received, an automated email Order Confirmation will be sent to the email address provided, confirming all aspects of the order. You will then receive further automated email updates containing information such as tracking numbers and other updates.

In cases where items ordered are not immediately available we will endeavour to make you aware of this within 24 hours, at which stage we will offer the most up to date delivery schedule available to us from our suppliers. From there you can choose to wait, have an alternative product shipped, or request a refund. 

Shipping lead times and time frames

We do not have an option for a same day delivery service. You are welcome to arrange your own pickup and mark your online order for Click & Collect service.

All domestic (Ireland) orders are shipped on a next working day service with DPD. We cannot guarantee an overnight delivery, but this is the service all parcels are booked on as standard by us.

Orders received before 1.30pm on a weekday will ship the same day. All going well the shipment should arrive with the customer the next working day, but please note - THIS IS NOT GUARANTEED. Once the shipment leaves us it is down to the courier service, and issues may arise around weather, logistics or vehicle issues. In some cases remote areas may see a 2-3 day service as standard.

Orders received after 1.30pm will be shipped the next working day and will be with the customer 1-2 working days after this.

Orders placed before 1.30pm Friday will be delivered the next working day (Monday) at the earliest. There is an express service for Saturday delivery. This must be booked and paid for separately at the checkout. There is NO same day Saturday service. Please DO NOT order on a Saturday for a Saturday delivery.

Bank Holiday Shipments:

Orders placed before 1.30pm on a Friday before a Bank Holiday will ship same day (Friday) and will be delivered Tuesday at the earliest.

Orders placed after 13.0pm on a Friday before a Bank Holiday will ship the following Tuesday for delivery Wednesday at the very earliest.

Christmas, New Years and other holidays

Delivery Charges

For all orders that have been selected for nationwide domestic Irish shipping there is a flat charge of €10 shipping on all orders with a value under €200 and all orders above this value are shipped with no shipping charges applied. 

Oversize Items surcharge

For larger items there is an additional €10 surcharge applied. This is charged by our carriers for items that exceed certain dimensions and/or weights. In these cases this cost is applied at the point of checkout. This typicay pplie to booths, stands and similar items.

In the event of orders placed on our website for delivery to what are deemed by international delivery companies to be 'remote or exceptional areas', Faize Sound and Lighting Limited reserves the right to contact a customer to request payment for the extra delivery cost involved which will be a minimum of €25.00 excluding VAT. If the customer is not agreeable to this additional charge, we reserve the right to offer a full refund to the customer for the amount already paid and to immediately cancel the order.

Orders for items Ex-Stock

While we do our very best to ensure our online stock levels accurately reflect our in store stock levels, there may be occasional instances where this is not the case. In the majority of cases, orders received for general stock items will be despatched within 3 working days. In the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK, these orders will generally be delivered via DPD parcels or another nominated delivery service of our choice.  

In the event of any unforeseen delays to the order, the user shall be notified of the delay by email and/or phone call.

Orders for items not held Ex-Stock

When a product has been selected that is not immediately available ex-stock, we will notify you of each product and the average expected despatch time. In these instance despatch times are usually subject to the availability of the item from the suppliers.

In the event of any unforeseen delays to the order, the client shall be notified of the delay by email.

Stock Availabilty

The lead-times that are displayed are approximations based on the most reasonable assessment of our stock levels at the time of your order. Even though we keep our information as accurate as possible, there may be occasions when an items' stock level may not be adequate to support your order quantity. In this event, you shall be notified of any delay to your order by email or phone as soon as possible, and if you are not satisfied with a new expected despatch date, an offer of a full refund will be made to you. If this offer is accepted, the refund will be made to your payment card of choice within 14/21 days

Collections/Click & Collect

Once we receive your order we will advise you that is it being processed. Once ready we will notify you by phone or email, and you can then collect your order at our Tallaght address. Please do not collect your order until you have received a notification that your order is ready to be collected.
